limiting the resources?

hello friends,
We load approx thousands of records every hour during a 9 hour period to a table that has 4 million rows and 10 indexes. approx 360,000 new rows every day. We cannot remove any indexes I'm afraid.
How can we limit the amount of resources used in order to reduce the server slow down during the hourly load?
