3.23 upgraded with fedora core 5.

hello there,
I was running mysql server 3.23 on fedora core 3, that I recently upgraded to core 5, later i found that my fourms was running real slow, i am running punbb for my forums and php also. the forums started retriveing data slow it was taking up to 30 secs for the page to open. any ideas? -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members.
