Default XML error at startup.

I am running win98 and installed mysql-query-browser-1.1.9-win-noinstall.zip by unzipping it c that functioned correctly for few days. but on executing the query browser, I get a message box with a title of "XML Error" and an OK button-no text. This appears twice, then the browser starts.

On executing a select statement against a database, the results are briefly displayed then they dissapear. I have deleted the entire directory that the files are installed to, and re-ran the installation process but same result. Is the windows registry involved?

Does anyone have any idea why this is happening and how to correct it? -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --

it seems as if the QueryBrowser wasn't supported in Win98 means it doesn't work at all. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --
