I don't think Zune will seriously impact iPod sales. However there is definitely a market for alternatives to the iPod. Microsoft is going for that market. I don't think they will, although I think that Zune is of much higher quality.
Honestly, my ipod video is a piece of crap and malfunctioned 3 times within the first month of having it.

I do wish that the Ipod would have an FM tuner, but Ipod controls like 70% of the mp3 player market. The Ipod is easy to use and download music to.
