Who cares where an seo company ranks for there own search terms. What do their clients have to say about them, if clients are happy then that is all that matters. So just because a company does not rank under seo or any other seo terms, but has clients that rank in the top ten for keywords like "gift baskets" or "morgage brokers" then that seo company is no good at what they do? What kills me is when the wannta be client ask that you rank them under something very competive and then only wants to pay you $1,000 or less for it, now that is stupid. Just by looking at the comp of certain keywords I already know if I can get them in the top ten or not, however I would never tell them that, I agree that one should never do that in attempt to get sales.
