The Creative Labs Zen Vision: M won this year's CES "Best of Show"
it has a better screen than the video ipod, works with just about any file format, great battery life, built-in FM and audio recorder, and works with music subscription services like Rhapsody, Yahoo Music, Napster, Urge, ect. I don't know how the zune compares to the Vision: M, but if it does, it's a better than the ipod as far as features go but with the amazing form factor, user interface, and the market share apple enjoys with the ipod, it could be a long road ahead for the zune. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. it's things like this that make me sad, becuase they just go to show that the best product won't necessarily win out, it's simply the best marketing -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --

Think about it. Lets say you have paid $500 for songs. Thats 500 songs that you will have to BUY AGAIN in order to just swich MP3 player brands. Like from ipod to zune. But hey, it's Apple, and Apple can do no wrong.

From what i hear, not so...
From engadget:
"To attract current iPod users Microsoft is going to let you download for free any songs you've already bought from the iTunes Music Store. They'll actually scan iTunes for purchased tracks and then automatically add those to your account. Microsoft will still have to pay the rights-holders for the songs, but they believe it'll be worth it to acquire converts to their new player." -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. for sure!
I've also heard, i believe through the same sight, that Microsoft's goal is to update the Zune software periodically; as opposed to Apple's plan to make you buy new iPods periodically (they're pink now!!!)...which was enough to sell me on a Zune. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. except for the fact that Microsoft's regular software updates are simply critical security patches... -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --
