Microsoft bashers. Never must've saw a MAC ... would have spent their life on a PC but still will bash Microsoft! Just because the owner is the richest man in the world ...lol ?

In all fairness, the Zune is NOT going to kill the iPod. It's not much more than a repackaged Toshiba Gigabeat. It doesn't have a scroll wheel. The interface isn't going to be as cool as iPod. Also, Windows Media Player is no match for iTunes. Zune is going to be a flop, wait for Zune 2.0 or 3.0. Maybe a Zune phone, but this first Zune is a stop-gap to try and stop the video iPod before it's too late, too bad it's too late. Sorry Microsoft, try again.
Disclaimer: I love Microsoft and the Xbox 360, so I'm not hating on Microsoft, just being honest about the Zune. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --

DRM is really a huge issue. With every new player you get a further bastardisation of the term interoperability and a further crackdown on your rights to use a product that you have payed for as you wish. Want to convert all yor paid for Itunes files on your new Zune? Forget about it. Yeah MS might offer you free replacment files but thats a whole load of hassle. I dont think the Ipod will be killed unitl someone very neatly integrates a music player into the mobile phone. You are already seeing this with the major manufactureres pushing into this arena. It's more likely that it will be Nokia or Motorola... that will kill the Ipod than MS. The wireless link in Zune is very interesting however. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --

The last thing I care about is being able to share my music. I just want a player that works!
nano is cool but seems easy to be scratched, for me Iriver is cool enough. Good features/sound and robust..And there's some waterproof casings for certain models too...Never owned an Ipod of any kind, and dont intend to...but will check out Zune.
As a general rule, I would think mp3 players on mobile phones have less sound quality than a true dedicated mp3 player, and this would also apply for digital cameras vs those in mobile phones...
Otherwise there'd be no market by now for all the cool digital cameras...
Just my 2 cents... -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --

My brother has an Iriver and it has features and upgrades that nor ipod nor zune can dream, but ipod is the king. Nevertheless i don't belive that zune is not going to be sold as cookies, microsoft are not new in the tech market! -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. Never tried Windows Media Player 11 did you? Loving it, and dumped iTunes because of it. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --
