Default what Software for submitting to search engines?

Hi,
Is it worth using such software to submit to search engines? If so what are the do's and the do nots. Can anyone recommend any software, I can found plenty of them on the net but which ones are decent. I don't mind paying for said software either.Download.com came up with SubmissionSoft which they gave 4 stars too.

Thanks for any help on this

Personally I'd be weary of using auto submissions because you are passing the control over to someone else. I know it takes a little longer to source directories yourself but you will know for sure that your URL is going into relevent, site specific directories. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members.
