Spam To Be Canned by 2006

I was searching Google today, and saw this strange article, anyone seen it? Thing is that it's been 2 years since this article was put online in January of 2004, and I still get spam.

Mmm... my inbox's spam has decreased over the years, just use some good spam keywords in your filters, as you should rarely be getting any non-spam with the same keywords -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --

Spam is here to stay. Why?
It's lucrative! Just good keywords in spam filters can reduce it. I realize some spam software currently on the market does eliminate spam but they also prevent good emails from coming through.
