Default MSN Loves static content

Hi folks

I have couple of site groups. One of them has pages which are pretty much static, changing quite rarely. The other one has pages constantly changing (new stuff on the topic gets to the top of the page moving everything else down)

For second group of sites MSN is great giving 40% of search traffic, for second it gives just about 1% and I only see some 2000 msn bot hits per day.

Second group has much more backlinks which makes it even more surprising. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --

Not really. The point is to choose apprioprate part of page content to updating - I mean left the core full of on-topic blabla's for MSN.
I do it that way and can't complain at SERPs. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --

I had the same issue, Please advise me as to which part of the page is best to update ?
In my case it is kind of top 10 new relevant stories are displayed on the page. So they move on the second third and so forth page.

The sites are on different topics. Might be something different is the issue I do not know but the fact is MSN loves ones and barely visits other. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --
