MSN Classifieds Coming

According to a Newsfactor story MSN is following google and will soon launch classifieds service. This is what the story says.

Microsoft will launch its own free online classified-ad service that could be could be available for public testing within the next month.

The service, code-named "Fremont" after a neighborhood in Seattle, will be part of the company's forthcoming Windows Live Web portal.

"Moving into online classifieds makes sense for Microsoft," said Greg Stein, a senior analyst at Jupiter Research. "They don't want to leave it to Google or anyone else that comes along."
