Image Linkbacks? How much they help?

Hey,

I know that it is very important to get text linkbacks but what if someone links back to you with an image?
i.e.

<a href="http://www.domain.com" title="keywords"><img src="img.jpg" alt="keywords"/></a>

How much does that help your PR and ranking?

Text links are always much much better. For image links you could name it keywordphrase.jpg
and then have the alt attribute for it to help. I mean, it's still a link..just not a link with your anchor text but still alink
As far as ranking...hmm one image link will do nothing..text links are much better with rankings..PR will get passed on

One thing is clear that text links are way better, but how much better? I have a campaign where do to some reasons (long story) I will be able to get many image linkbacks. I am wondering if an image link is considered as a factor in your page rank?
