Reciprocal Linking Experiences

Hi Everyone.

I would like to share one experiment i did recently and it has some intresting facts in terms of Reciprocal Linking System.

I will say that reciprocal links will cause harm to your website.

I started 3 months back.

2 domains

One with One way Links, another With Reciprocals.

The reciprocal linking site got a PR 3 recently and one way site Got PR 5.

Also, the reciprocal links site, got all pages indexed first and then de indexed. The link Page got PR 0 even as home page has PR3. Also, two days back the reciprocal link page is out of G Cache.


Reciprocals are performing around 20 % less compared to One way in Yahoo. while in MSN, i see no difference in both things.


So, now onwards, i will not get into reciprocal link exchange.

P.S. The links were from related websites and not link farms.
