Googlebot Question

Googlebot is making lot of visits on my website.
Can there be any way to reduce its crawl on my website.

i have the same content for last one month and there is nothing new, but Googlebot keeps coming everyday

in google webmaster guidelines they have given clear instruction on how to reduce the same.
