I have been using them 30gigs.com for the last 6 month. I never received any advertising email. And also never faced any problem in using it. It work faster then gmail. Well 1% of the people using it will actually get close to 30gigs, so they just hope that people don't use a lot of bandwidth, and say 30gigs.
