Personally, I think that Google is doing a great job.

About the Beta thing, its nothing more than legal issues.

Even Microslop started some services as Beta (stealing ideas again).

Google has many services and I wish they evolve faster, unlike other companies its free.

I believe google's IT facility is larger than yahoo's or microsoft's, so I guess they have more than sufficient funds and man power to develop multiple things at once. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --

Google's mission is to rule the internet, by just improving their search engine they won't be able to do that, therefore it's important that they come with new products or else acquire start ups in order to dominate and have a upper hand in the internet space.

No company can become big by focussing on just one product, it's a combination of popular products that make a company popular. for microsoft it's OS, office, internet explorer etc.

For google its only their search engine and adwords, gmail, analytics and other products may follow. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --

.
They already rule the internet.....

I agree that developing into other areas is key, however more attention needs to be paid to webmasters & people using the engine. You see why Matt Cutts blog is so popular because people have nowhere else to get any tiny bit of information from about updates/changes etc -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. I think Google is trying to find direction. However, Google is just a follower and not innovator, Google is innovator only in the search arena. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --

Well, I don't think so. Their search engine is already pretty solid and lots of their products are well-designed even though most of them are in beta. I mean, how many people use gmail now? I'd say they're on the right track.

I guess from my standpoint I would not mind seeing either Yahoo or MSN make gains on the Big G, since it is much harder to get a site up on G than the others. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --

Not for me. I have 2.5k pages indexed in google and like 100 for yahoo and 50 for MSN and my ranking in google is way better than the rest of the rwo. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --
