Gmail Mobile
Now you can access your Gmail account from your mobile phone or device. Just point your phone's web browser to http://m.gmail.com. Your Gmail account stays synched, whether you access it from the web or the mobile interface. It's easy to use and it's free (but yes, your wireless plan could still charge you).
It also has these cool features:
• Automatically optimizes the interface for the phone you're using
• Opens the attachments you receive in messages, including photos, Microsoft Word documents and .pdf files
• Lets you reply by call to people whose phone numbers are in your Gmail Contacts list

New GmailFS
GmailFS provides a mountable Linux filesystem which uses your Gmail account as its storage medium. GmailFS is a Python application and uses the FUSE userland filesystem infrastructure to help provide the filesystem, and libgmail to communicate with Gmail.
GmailFS supports most file operations such as read, write, open, close, stat, symlink, link, unlink, truncate and rename. This means that you can use all your favourite unix command line tools to operate on files stored on Gmail (e.g. cp, ls, mv, rm, ln, grep etc. etc.). -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. Yeah gmail tech support have officially shrugged off both of my latest support messages, including the one mentioning GmailFS. After 2 autoreplies they sent me two letters saying "we have gotten too busy to answer any incoming emails, go play in the faq and don't bother us".
However, on the other side of that coin, my Grandma was using Hotmail. She kept clicking on advertisements designed to look like her inbox link saying she had like a zillion new messages and got spyware as a result. I set her up on Gmail, now her troubles are over. Except for one. She keeps trying to email my Mom. My mom's 2MB hotmail inbox is always full so the messages bounce. Didn't hotmail upgrade their free accounts to like 100Mb? yep, they did, just not my Mom's. So there be another Gmail subscriber. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --

Gmail are really too Crapy.
How the hell U are all saying Gmail is really too good, HUh it's really Crappy. Google offers more storage for your email than other Internet service providers that we are all know about. The powerful searching encourages account holders to never delete anything. It takes three clicks to put a message into the trash, and more effort to delete this message. errr.. its take too much time....
Google also admits that even deleted messages will remain on their system, and may also be accessible internally at Google, for an indefinite period of time. For a few months they showed a note saying that messages left in the trash folder for -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. Anyone see that new termandous features :--
Gmail learned to Talk. Now Gmail accounts are automatically enabled with chat features. You don't have to do anything special, it just works. See when your friends are online and decide for yourself how you want to get in touch with them. Email and instant messaging don't have to be so different. And why should you always have to remember whether something important was said over email or IM? We've made it easy for you to save chats, so you can search for them, print them, even reply to one over email.
check on that :-- https://mail.google.com/mail/help/chat.html
