Default new google toolbar

hello guys
noticed that

There is a new update of the Google Toolbar and it is a doozy.

I used the settings dialog to tell it NOT to change much of anything. Well, Google doesn't seem to want to take "No" for an answer. With Spybot, I kept trying to tell it NOT to make changes in my registry - no dice, it repeats the popups until you let it make the changes.

When I made some changes to the toolbar config, I got outgoing connection warnings from Outpost Firewall. What made it interesting was that Google wasn't accessing the internet directly - it was going through svchost.exe as a hidden process. I just got hit with the new toolbar this morning. It's taking some getting used to. I really don't like the new way they have the search history setup. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --

Hi danielle

Yes, I too saw the new toolbar but didn't download it. And now after reading this, I don't think I need that until google itself pushed it to my browser.
