removing a page from google

Hello all
During my routine surfing i found out that i had two pages with duplicate content on two different sites. I first added a "no index" to one of the pages then decided to delete it all together. However it is still showing up in the serps. How long will it take for the page to disappear from the results? Also, is there a way to remove just the page from Google without removing the whole website?

it will take a little more time. i think google will delete the page from its index itself when it next crawls your site and updates.
