Supplemental Index and Page SERPs

Hi Everyone.
I have one question to ask about the supplement pages.
We promoted our own new website and it has been indexed well by google and nearly 2000 pages are shown at the moment.
but the trouble is that almost all the pages are in supplemental index

i am sure that with this trouble, we wont get any traffic for the website as the results wont show up in the SERPs

anyone got any idea about the trouble ??

i have also seen this for one of my website
there were around 50 % pages in supplemental index.

i also had this kind of trouble for a website of mine and i think it is something to do with duplicate content. or at times when googlebot visited your website and couldnt find those pages, there could be server time out or even there could be some script error if you are having those pages served by ASP or PHP -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. at times, it happens that google cant find your pages, say due to any kind of script timout or error and this leads to putting the pages into supplemental index.
they are slowly removed if in future googlebot doesnt find fresh content on those pages -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --

its good that your pages are restored in main index.
