Checking new techniques on Adwords

I am of the view that many webmasters and online sellers use Adwords to promote their products.

I tried it for two times but was not that successful. I couldnt make much of sales.

Second time, it was better as there were more sales and conversion was good. I was given some simple tips by a friend of mine and they really helped.

I am looking for some more tips from forum members as to what can be done in order to get more clicks for adverts and also to pay lower cpc.
