I encounter the same thing at times; it is good to walk away from whatever you are doing if only for a little while. Sometimes you need a day or so for your brain to recover. I think the people you work with is a big factor in spicing up things at work. I remember a couple of years ago, the only thing that kept me going was my friends at work.
