Hi
Do you think that soft drinks really poses any threats to our health considering the level of pesticides in it??
What's your take??
I think they are safe than lot of other junk food we eat. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --

This topic is quite hot in India, where I live, Colas have been banned in the Indian Parliament and government canteens after a report that suggested higher levels of pesticides than prescribed, but I haven't stopped drinking them and never will. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. Heard somewhere that it has been banned in couple of US schools or universities.
Must have been something wrong in them. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --

Unless I see people around me dropping dead from drinking colas I refuse to stop drinking it, these days everything surrounding us have toxins in them, so basically everything around us is not safe. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. I guess it is a big deal in India, I have seen it on international news about how coke has high level of pesticide, I did not really pay attention about the matter. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --

Ya, blah blah blah, I don't care what they say, I am addicted to coke and can't leave my habit. The air we breathe also contain harmful particles so should we stop its intake. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --

I don't really think that by changing our lifestyles we are going to do ourselves any good. I personally think that you just can't disinfect the entire world, and if you do, then you are only asking for problems. When I was a kid, I ate dirt and worms, and I'm okay. Have you noticed how kids now have more and more allergies than was prevalent 20 or 30 years ago? Everyone is into disinfecting everything around them now, including the air they breathe. What is this doing to our immune systems if not weakening them? -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --

Well cola and other cola-like tastes can't be so harmful otherwise a lot of countries would have it banned by now. I guess it is harmful for your health but I do have som pepsi from time-to-time. I mean, it isn't as harmful as tobacco and almost everywhere tobacco is not banned. -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --
