Israel-Lebanon ceasefire

Finally, the deadly battle between Israel and Lebanon has come to a halt after the recent ceasefire. The war which began over a petty issue has swallowed over 1200 civilians and soldiers thus far.

I think United Nations should do a bit more in preventing and resolving such conflicts, over ther years it has proved to be a weak body unable to take strong decisions.

I disagre. IMHO UNO has done everything it could do under such a situation. It provided food aid even in the interiors, risking the life of its own workers. Three of its workers were even killed the war.

its good if they stop this war with muslim nations and community. i dont think that it should be blamed onto muslims, Bush is a real culprit in starting a war with Iraq, there were on WMD in Iraq, but these two bush and blair went down to destroy everything in Iraq.
