2 or 1 server?

Hi people,
Please let me inform, which of the following is better for shared hosting company and to handle more customers.

2 servers with the following specs:

P4 3.0 GHz
800 MHz Front Side Bus (FSB)
1 MB L2 Cache
Server-Class Case
2 GB Physical RAM
SATA HD
2 GB RAM

Or 1 server with:

2 x Opteron 265
2 GB RAM
SATA HD

It will depend on the types of websites hosted and how processor intensive the sites are. If the type of sites you'll be hosting tend to be I/O, memory or disk intensive, 2 less powerful servers would be better.For processor intensive a single more powerful server would be better.
