setting up a DNS?

Hi everyone,
Recently, I got a dual opteron linux box. I set up and install web server using T1 connection. Plz suggest how to add another 2 IPs to setup our own DNS? While buying a dedicated server, I usually have 3-8 ips address, so how do they get that many IPs on per box?
