opteron or dual core?

Which one is better and more powerful i.e. Dual Processor Dual Core Opteron 270 - 2.0GHz - 4 x 1MB cache OR Dual Processor Dual Core Xeon 5050 - 3.0GHz (Dempsey) - 4 x 2MB cache - HT?
