I am planning to start a file hosting website. please tell if LayeredTech is a good choice to go with or not? is this a good starting server and will it make a difference if I got 10mbps uplink or 100?

LT is a great provider. If you plan on having many users downloading at once, I would recommend a 100mbit port; the speed increase is very good for an extra 10 bucks per month.
