Thumbs down Sitcky CMS problem...PHP & MySQL

Hi
I am having trouble running my cms website. I recently downloaded a backup of our website from remote US server and tried to run it to my local server.

My problem is that the scripts are having trouble running. It would validate the username and password. Everytime i logged in as administrator it would direct me to the administrator's page but would allow me to do modifications. It would prompt "You are not logged in" which is pretty ironic. Since it already direct me to the administrator's page as i logged in.

How come in remote server it would run smoothly with no hassles?

The cms website was done in lower version of PHP3 and MySQL3. And i'm trying to run it under PHP5 and MySQL5 to my local server. Our remote server is using same new versions of PHP and MYSQL... can you help me identify the trick? -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members.
