With the space you are not using the link: operator, you are actually searching for Link: &
www.abc.com so it will show you pages that have the word link and the domain. Google's link operator is purposely broke, so its darn near worthless.
Use yahoos site explorer, it lets you eliminate links from the domain and shows you a lot more actual links.
