Google does a deep crawl once in a while
i think best way is to get links for main page and also to some other pages. say for instance a sitemap page is as important to get site indexed.

so if you have 10 links to sitemap, it will also be indexed everyday.

sam is the case with some main category pages or other smaller indexes.
