Default The Planet Expands Dallas and Houston Data Centers

Adds 25,000 square feet in total to both data centers; 60 percent of the space is located in Dallas and the remainder in Houston.

The Planet, a dedicated hosting company, on February 20th, 2007, announced data center expansions in both its Dallas and Houston operations.

The additions, 25,000 square feet in total, bring the company's total data center footprint to 175,000 square feet. Through the end of 2007, the company plans data center additions that will bring the total to 215,000 square feet. Approximately 60 percent of the space is located in Dallas, with the remainder in Houston.

The Dallas operation opened today, and the Houston data center will begin serving customers by the end of March.
