Arrow Before you register a domain...

Before registering a domain you should do a bit of research to see if it's worthwhile. I have seen a fair share of bad domains out there Too long domains, domains with weird spellings making them hard to remember, domains that can fail to make it past a bad words filter etc. All this is a result of poor planning. I understand that a domain is very cheap to register (perhaps too cheap ) but bear in mind that if you register a good domain, get listings in all the major search engines, build it's PageRank you can sell it at a decent price.

So before registering a domain make sure you know the market you are targeting and what that market is looking for. You can use any good keyword research tool. It's free and is worth it.
