Exclamation Google Still having click fraud ?

I recently had access to an account of a client for managing his adwords campaign. I checked and found something very interesting

On 3 Feb, 2007

The client was running a campaign for sitewide CPM on few websites.

Adwords was showing 290 clicks on that day.
The client uses Google Analytics and Sitemeter to track visitors.
The visitors on the site were only 89 on the same day (time zone for adwords and analytics accounts is the same)
The site had no downtime.
Clicks were sent to site main page, so there is no question of some clicks not been tracked.

As the campaign was not CPC, the client was not furious. But this is something which google should deal with. And such a huge difference can not be just blamed on the capability of stat systems.

An email from google regarding the matter was having a funny response of the difference in time zone could be a problem. While i know the ti -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members. To become a member, click here --
