nano is cool but seems easy to be scratched, for me Iriver is cool enough. Good features/sound and robust..And there's some waterproof casings for certain models too...Never owned an Ipod of any kind, and dont intend to...but will check out Zune.
As a general rule, I would think mp3 players on mobile phones have less sound quality than a true dedicated mp3 player, and this would also apply for digital cameras vs those in mobile phones...
Otherwise there'd be no market by now for all the cool digital cameras...
