DRM is really a huge issue. With every new player you get a further bastardisation of the term interoperability and a further crackdown on your rights to use a product that you have payed for as you wish. Want to convert all yor paid for Itunes files on your new Zune? Forget about it. Yeah MS might offer you free replacment files but thats a whole load of hassle. I dont think the Ipod will be killed unitl someone very neatly integrates a music player into the mobile phone. You are already seeing this with the major manufactureres pushing into this arena. It's more likely that it will be Nokia or Motorola... that will kill the Ipod than MS. The wireless link in Zune is very interesting however.
