Hi OSP members

According to some SEOs links on Wikipedia are like gold.

I have tried adding links to terms that a related to my site, but it seems just after I edit a terms page, someone changes it and takes my link off.

How important is a Wikipedia link?

If it is important, then how do you get a link to stay on Wikipedia?
